Message From the President: It is with esteem and high regard that I say I have been blessed to have a great working relationship with our Board of Directors and the current membership, who honor us with increasing loyalty, time, and expertise everytime they set out to accomplish the tasks of the Tracy African-American Association. On behalf of our board and members, we welcome you to the Tracy African- American Association. We specialize in providing resources to fill the need where students graduating from local High Schools are able to receive scholarships through annual fundraising efforts. We encourage you to enjoy the refined benefits of our association, which include, but are not limited to Increasing Cultural Awareness. Providing a forum for young people to dialogue with our member professionals, and Enhancing our community through cultutral enrichment activities. All supported by annual fundrasing efforts. (Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast, Juneteenth Festival, Kwanzaa Celebration and a recently added Golf tournament. ) Our mission is to create a cooperative environment that strives to unite people of all ages. We encourage active involvement in promoting, contributing, and sponsoring educational, cultural, and social activties throughout the greater Tracy Community. Membership is open to any indvidual who shares and embraces the overall objectives of TAAA. |
